Lyda Salatian

Lyda is a self-taught photographer with a great love for the outdoors and traveling. She has also lived all over the world as well as backpacked Europe and Canada.

She is first and foremost an environmentalist with a graduate degree in Environmental Studies and a particular interest in promoting responsible environmental behaviour. Through her creative and artistic side she hopes to illustrate through photography the beautiful world and the amazing creatures in it.

She just started out in the photography world (March 2007) and hopes you enjoy her work.

"I spent my childhood roaming fields, climbing trees and discovering the natural world. As an adult, I continue to discover the beautiful world around me and hope through my images I inspire you to safeguard the environment.

I believe I live in one of the most beautiful places in the world - British Columbia. The mountains, oceans, forest and wildlife provide an infinite source of inspiration"

Shawn Bergman

Shawn is a self-taught photographer and is in his last term of a program focused on environmental conservation. He loves nature and is an avid hiker with a love for travel. His creative side and eye for the beauty in "our world" are expressed through the images he captures through photography.

"I compete with myself as a photographer, always striving to improve to get the most amazing shots possible."

While fairly new to the digital SLR world, photography has been a fun and adventurous hobby of Shawn's for many years. With constant changes and advances in digital cameras and technology it will continue to be an exciting and challenging endeavor.
